Support needed for ILWU clerical members fighting for job security

Support needed for ILWU clerical members fighting for job security

Dock workers have refused to cross the picket lines of six hundred clerical workers  (Clerical Unit of ILWU Local 63 ) who have been without a contract for over two years and who are on strike over outsourcing.  Employers walked away from the bargaining table on 1 December. The ITF hopes that they will stay at the bargaining table until an agreement is reached as talks resume.  We are calling on all maritime unions to remain alert and make ready for lawful solidarity action.

Please also send messages of solidarity and support for the Office Clerical Unit workers to ray.familathe@ilwu.org
