Spotlight on HIV/AIDS

Busting the myths around HIV/AIDS. That’s a major focus of the #MRT2016 fringe session happening this evening.

Participants have been sharing their experiences and ideas on using ITF resources to support campaigning and education around HIV/AIDS.

#MRT2016: The future of the ITF

“The future of the ITF is you” – that’s the message from the ITF’s general secretary, Steve Cotton, to the participants at the opening of the Maritime Roundtable 2016 (#MRT2016) in Montreal, Canada. “Young activists, women activists, coming together and saying maritime workers won’t be ignored - we’ll be at the forefront, fighting for the kind of industries and futures that we want to see,” he said.
